Mrs. Fakhra Mubashir

Fakhra Mubashir passed away the morning of Saturday, October 8th, 2022 after a long illness. She was born on March 12th, 1945, and emigrated from her native Pakistan to the USA in 1971. She was 77 years old. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Dr. Bashar A. Mubashir of Green, OH, and her three daughters Sarah Mubashir, Amy Mubashir, and Samira Koser(nee Mubashir), her son-in-laws Adel Hafiz, and Bryan Koser, her grandsons Derek Hafiz and Adam Hafiz, and her granddaughter Hannah Koser. She enjoyed gardening and shopping, as well as spending time with family and friends. Her funeral will be held Monday, October 10th, 2022 at 152 E. Steels Corners Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44224. Visiting hours will be held at the Islamic Center of Akron and Kent between 11 am and 2 pm at the same address. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Islamic Center of Akron and Kent at the same aforementioned address.
