Fleet helped me when I was down and out while I was in Tallahassee with no hint from him of paying him. He was in my corner at the time in my life.
Love you Fleet!

Fleet, you have been my brother and best friend for forty years. We grew up and grew old always remaining close and sharing our life experiences thru our long conversations in person, by phone or recently by the internet. We made each other laugh, comforted each other when we cried and we made each other's lives better. Hopefully I will meet up with you down the road to continue our good times. May God allow you to show his angels some of your flying maneuvers. They will love you as I do!

I have such fond memories of Mr. Fleet ( that's what I called him) He always had us laughing! He was one of a kind. So sad to hear of his passing. My most sincere condolences to the family and loved ones, sending Love, Light, Prayers & Peace.
With love and sympathy, Ali Davis ( Mayne)

I met Captain Pride in 1992 during the Hurricane Andrew recovery in Miami. Later, I was his mailman at Blue Water Sports. I considered Fleet at a friend and will miss him.

I only knew Fleet through his partner, Marilyn, but I knew he had to be a special person for her to be with him. My condolences to the entire family. Barbara MacDonald
