Fletcher Summers Obituary
Fletcher Summers, Jr. passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at the age of 78 years surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 25, 1940 in Norwalk, Connecticut to the late Fletcher Summers, Sr. and Catherine Lee Summers. He retired from CL&P after many years of service. His memory will remain etched in the hearts of those he so graciously and benevolently shared his gifts with. Mr. Summers is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Thelma Keitt Summers of Norwalk, CT., one sister; Louise Summers and a number of nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. followed by a service of celebration at 12:00 p.m. at Bethel AME Church, 19 Academy St. Norwalk, CT. with Rev. Dr. Richard Wesley Clarke officiating. Interment will be private. Services entrusted to Graves Medley Funeral Services.
