Frances A Brown

Frances "Franny" (Montenegrino) Brown, 78, of Sun City, AZ, formerly of Milford, MA and Mendon, MA passed away on August 27, 2022. Born on August 9, 1944, Franny was the daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth (Saracino) Montenegrino and she was the daughter-in law of the late Leroy and Bridget (Filosa) Brown.

Born and raised in Milford, Franny was a 1962 graduate of St. Mary's High School. In 1963 she married Francis "Brownie" Brown and the couple moved to Mendon to raise their family. When her children were young, Franny worked at H.P. Clough School in Mendon and later worked as a nurses' aide and a home health aide.

In addition to her husband, Brownie, she leaves behind a son Michael Brown of Williams, AZ; a daughter-in-law Jacqueline Brown of Williams AZ; a daughter Karen Creery and her husband Richard of Sun City, AZ; a sister Pauline Stone of Mendon, MA; a brother Paul Montenegrino of Hopedale, MA; a grandson Steven Brown of Williams, AZ; a granddaughter Bethany Brown of Mesa, AZ; a brother-in-law James Brown of Worcester, MA; a brother-in-law Thomas Brown, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Per her wishes, Franny was cremated. Her burial will take place at a later date. If you would like to remember Franny, please give to a local animal charity in her name, or plant some pansies, as those were her favorite flower.
