Frances McCall Faulk

Mrs. Frances McCall Faulk died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on July 27, 2017 in Alexandria, Louisiana, at the age of 84.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Murrel Faulk following 61 years of loving marriage; parents, Reverend C.E. and Edmae McCall; sisters, Hortense McCall Faulk and Audrey Mae McCall Amy; brother, Dorsey Earl McCall.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Shelley Faulk Jenkins Atwood (Edward); grandchildren, Bethany Jenkins Watt (Lyle) and Benjamin Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Evelyn (Evie) Watt, Michael and Elizabeth Jenkins.

Frances was an accomplished pianist performing from an early age throughout the region and sharing her musical gifts as a teacher. She was a dedicated individual who loved music and who was passionate about sharing her musical gifts with others and to honor God. She was an active and dedicated member of several civic organizations throughout her life including the Matinee Music Club and often volunteered at area nursing homes sharing her musical talents. She was also a member of several churches during her life; most recently College Drive Baptist Church, where she was the pianist for many years.

Memorial services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at College Drive Baptist Church in Pineville, Louisiana. The service was a time for music and sharing by family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or College Drive Baptist Church for the orphanage they sponsor in Mexico.

The family would like to thank Deann, Rachel and all the other staff of Compassionate Care for their tireless effort and dedication to Frances's care.
