Frances (Webber) Honaker was born at home May 9, 1927 to Frank and Mabel Webber. She died Nov. 20, 2016.
She attended Webster High School and graduated in 1946. She attended The University of Tulsa, married Jack D. Honaker in 1949 and graduated from TU in 1950. She worked as a medical secretary while Jack attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma.
She and Jack had three children, Richard, Michael and Debra Kay.
After earning a nursing degree from Cameron University in 1969, she worked alongside Jack in his office and was the In-service Director at the community hospital in Frederick. She enjoyed working with kids. She was a Cub Scout and Camp Fire leader and directed and choreographed musicals from 1971 to 1994 for Frederick High School.
Following retirement in 1988, she and Jack volunteered for six years as medical missionaries at several overseas locations. She was voted Frederick's most useful citizen in 1986 to honor her for her numerous volunteer activities in the community and at the high school.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mabel Webber and husband Jack D. Honaker.
She is survived by children, Richard and wife Darlene Honaker of Ellicott City, Md., Michael and wife Jan Honaker of Tulsa and Debra Kay Pool of Plano, Texas. She is also survived by sister-in-law Sue Robertson and husband Bill of Plano. She had five grandsons, Matthew and wife Rebecca Honaker, James and wife Kee Honaker, Ben and wife Heather Honaker, Thomas Pool and Michael Pool; and one great-grandson David Jack Honaker.
A memorial service will be held after the first of the year. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to John 3:16 Mission in Tulsa.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I have fond memories of the Honaker family. My grandparents Lindon and Arlene Lovett lived across the street in Frederick. May You find comfort in the Lord at this time of lose.
