Eleanor and Family:
I am deeply saddened to learn today of Frank's passing. Last time I saw Frank was at my own father's funeral. My dad loved Frank like a brother and like any family the relationship had it's ups and downs. Despite the hard times my dad never stopped loving Frank and all the Feroletos. I am so sorry about Frank's passing. I truly feel the loss that you all are experincing. Frank was always kind to me as a child and later as I grew up.
The peace that I now have is that I know Frank, Papi and Clara are reunited now and no longer afficled by the terrible burdens they suffered towards the end. I am sure Frank and Nilo are golfing and Clara is laughing and they are all smiling down on us.

Dear Aunt Eleanor, Meg, Frank, Lisa, Kris, Tommy, David and family,

I want to share my deepest condolences with you about the loss of your husband, and father, my fathers' brother. I know that this is a sad time right now and I hope that you are taking good care of you and of your mother. I am sorry that I was unable to attend the funeral due to work obligations. I so much wanted to be there to express my sadness about Uncle Franks passing, to show support for you, and to give your father the respect that he deserved. I know that my father loved Uncle Frank very much. Earlier today I started crying, smiling and laughing when I was sharing with a friend the joy I used to feel when I saw your father--he looked so much like grandma :). I wish I had told him that he touched me this way. I love the picture you chose to post of him, he looks happy :).

I am happy that you have a close family and that you will be there for each other and get through this together.

My love to all of you and a big hug to you Aunt Eleanor. I know this is a difficult time. You and Uncle Frank were so blessed to have each other.

Love, Maria

Senior City League. He introduced us to 'abizza' (I think it was called) We became closer during our years at Fairfield University. He was always working and working HARD whether selling Christmas trees or grounds keeping at Fairchild Wheeler. Aunt Eleanor - my fondest memory of Uncle Frank was sitting on his lap when I was about 6 and him giving me all the grapes I could ever want and then him offering me grapes every time I saw him until I was 30. We will all miss him. Love, Katie

I followed Frank at Prep a few years later. His name and fame were well-known on campus at the time. In subsequent years I noticed his name repeatedly regarding Prep affairs. He was a great person and a tribute to his family I did not know him personally. But reputation and character stand out! My condolences to his family.
