Francis Spadea Obituary
Born in Calabria, Italy, Tony immigrated to the United States with his family at a young age. A proud graduate of Wilson High School, he went on to serve his country honorably in the U.S. Army.
Tony had a zest for life. He loved riding motorcycles, playing cards, his drums, and was a die-hard Steelers fan, bleeding black and gold. Above all, his greatest joy was being a devoted father to his beloved daughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maria Carmela and Raffaele Spadea. Tony is survived by his sisters, Theresa and Maria; his brother, Jianni; his daughters, Ann Marie, Jennifer, and Elizabeth; and his cherished grandchildren, Mikel, Sean, Aden "AJ", Dacoda, and Klarissa.
Tony will be remembered for his warmth, his laughter, and the love he shared with everyone around him. His celebration of life will be held at West Meadows Baptist Church, 11711 Normandy Blvd. on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 4:00pm. Donations can be made in his honor to The Basilica of St. Anthony.
