Franco "Kark" Amicone Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 20, 2025.
Franco "Kark" Amicone, aged 49, of McKees Rocks, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, at Mercy Hospital. Born on February 12, 1976, in the same town he would call home for his entire life, Franco was a cherished son, father, brother, uncle, nephew and friend whose vibrant spirit and warm heart left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to have known him.

The beloved son of Paulette and the late Frank Amicone, Franco grew up in a close-knit family, surrounded by the love and wisdom of his grandparents, Pauline and the late John Campbell, sister Marisa, who also preceded him in death, shared a special bond with Franco, one that was filled with laughter and mutual respect. He was a supportive and loving brother to Neil, and an adoring father to his precious daughter, Zoey Rose, who was the light of his life.

Spending time with his daughter Zoey Rose was Franco's greatest joy. Together, they shared a bond that was both tender and strong, filled with moments of joy, learning, and mutual admiration. His role as a father was one he held most dear, and he instilled in his daughter the values of love, kindness, and the importance of family.

Franco's role as a family man extended as he was a cherished uncle to Wyatt and the honored godfather to Kennedy Marisa. His numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins found in him not only a relative but a true friend and confidant, someone who could always be counted on for support and a hearty laugh.

Professionally, Franco dedicated 18 years of his life as a skilled Pepsi Technician. He was not only committed to his work but took great pleasure in mentoring and training new employees, sharing his expertise and fostering a sense of camaraderie within the workplace.

Franco's zest for life was evident in his passions and pastimes. He was a man who cherished the simple pleasures, like riding his motorcycle on a clear day, wind in the knees. His love for music was well-known, and he could often be found at family gatherings, sharing stories and creating memories. His love of food was evident to all and he always knew the best places to eat.

Franco's presence was a comfort and joy around a fire with friends and family, where conversations flowed, and laughter was abundant. He had the ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued, and his generous spirit was as warm and inviting as the flames they gathered around.

The loss of Franco "Kark" Amicone is deeply felt by all who knew him. He was a man who lived life fully, with a heart that was open and a smile that could light up a room. His legacy is one of love, friendship, and a life well-lived, and he will be profoundly missed.
