Francoise Dumont

Francoise (Bolduc) Dumont, 83, of Asylum Avenue, West Hartford, died peacefully Sunday afternoon, March 13, 2016, at St. Mary's Home in West Hartford. She was the devoted and loving husband of Donat P. Dumont, who predeceased her in April of last year. Francoise was born October 2, 1932 in St. Victor, Beauce, Quebec, Canada, daughter of the late Alfred and Marie Bolduc. She was one of fifteen children, eleven boys and four girls. Francoise leaves two sons, Donald Dumont and his wife, Carlene and their children, Sean Dumont, Jeremy Dumont and Mario Dumont, all of Lakewood, CO and Dale Dumont and his wife, Francesca, and their children, Silvana Mendoza and Belen Dumont of West Hartford. She also leaves many in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Francoise was a long-time resident of West Hartford and an active parishioner of The Church of St. Timothy. Calling hours will be on Friday, March 18, from 5-8 PM at Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at The Church of St. Timothy, 1116 North Main Street, West Hartford, CT on Saturday, at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield, CT. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Church of St. Timothy.
