Grenoble Frank Calvin Grenoble, Sr.. 93, of Williamsport, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013. He was born September 18, 1919 in Lewisburg, the son of Robert Ray and Anna Bessie (Gibbony) Grenoble. Frank was the husband of the late Evelyn M. Hollopeter Grenoble with whom he shared 64 years of marriage prior to her passing in 2010. He was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church. Frank came to Williamsport in 1940 and worked for Goldy Lumber Co. before earning his degree in education at Penn State. He taught Building Construction at the Williamsport Technical Institute for 25 years as it evolved into the Williamsport Community College. He enjoyed the brotherhood of the Masonic Order of the Knight Templar, Baldwin II Commandry #22, John F. Laedlein Lodge #707 and Royal Arch Mason, Williamsport Consistory, the Irem Temple and Irem Temple String Band. Frank retired in 1984 to enjoy his gardening, woodworking, traveling, playing his guitar and harmonica for family and friends. He is survived by a son, Dr. Frank C. (Pam) Grenoble, Jr. of Palmyra; a daughter Debbie G. (Stephen) Decker of Williamsport; three grandchildren, Scott L. (Jennifer) Grenoble of Palmyra, Amy G. (Kevin) Zook of Shippensburg, Christopher S. Decker of Williamsport; three great grandchildren, Alexandra, Julia and Kaeden. He was predeceased by three brothers, William, Donald and Robert. In keeping with Frank's wishes services and interment will be private. Arrangements are being handled by the James C. Maneval Funeral Home, Ltd. "A Life Celebration Home" 500 W.
