Frank J Clark III Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 17, 2024.
Frank Clark, aged 70 years, of Winnfield, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. He was a beloved husband, father, and friend to all who knew him.

Frank was born on April 23, 1954 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He grew up in Calvin, Louisiana. Frank has worked for Can-Am Chains for 22 years. He was also a member of First Baptist Church Winnfield and served as the director of the youth department for the past 35 years.

Life of the party. Biggest heart in the room. Always willing to help. The best thing about Frank Clark is the joy that he brings to all who meet him. He never met a stranger and made everyone feel welcome and included.

Frank was the ultimate Louisiana sportsman. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he enjoyed being a part of the Buck Bottom Hunting Club, the Winnfield Bass Club, the Fishers of Men organization. His favorite hobbies included playing and coaching softball and basketball, card nights with his friends, and drafting his Fantasy Football team with his buddies. He was most at home in the kitchen and loved cooking for a crowd. He loved volunteering in the youth department at church and had a heart for sharing the love of Christ with teens. His family, most especially his grandkids, was his greatest accomplishment.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Linda; his children, Erin Price (Chris), Alayna Huckaby (Craig), Laura Adcock (Justin), and Kirk Clark (Becca); his grandchildren, Elesa Price, Ella Price, Evelyn Adcock, Brayden Clark, Jude Adcock, Sydney Clark, Penelope Adcock, and Anne Violet Adcock; his brothers, Johnny Israel, James Clark (Amy), Richard Clark (Vicki), Mark Clark (Diane), and Charlie Clark (Rae); and many nieces and nephews.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Leola Clark, and his in-laws, Carl Bee and Virginia Parker.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 1:30 PM at First Baptist Church Winnfield. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in memory of Frank Clark to the First Baptist Church Youth Ministry or Fishers of Men LA North.

Frank was always cooking when I came to visit with Laura, Alayna, and Gaynell during my time at La Tech. His specialty at the time was cheesy chicken spaghetti. Id bet he had a name for it but it was the best. He and Linda always made us feel welcome and like family when we were there. Sending my love and prayers to you all. -Renee Loper Rothfusz
