Kari,
I just learned of Frank's passing and I am very sorry. To know your family is such a joy, your kids are fantastic and I know it's because of you and Frank. You were always an inspiration to me as I got married and had my first son (and you helped teach Let's Get Messy!) You will continue to be an inspiration to me through this. Kari, you are very strong and so are Julianna, Frankie and Vanessa, you will all get through this because you have each other. Know you all now have an angel looking over you and protecting you. If you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to ask!
Love,
"Miss" Sarah

Dear Lupo Family
I am so sorry for your loss. I grew up on Treton Rd and lived next to Frank. When I think back to the time I lived on Teton Rd I remember Frank and my brother Dave playing hockey in the driveway. You are in my thoughts and prayers

Frank was truly one of the great guys I have known. He went to my grade school (St. Anselm's) and then to St. Joe's Prep...knowing he was at the Prep helped me realize that I could do it too, that it might not be too far away. Some of my fondest memories of being a teenager involve Frank...rides to school with Mr. Lupo in the Jeep and then in Frank's car once he could drive. Just last week, I told a Frank story to my daughter as she got ready for forensics...I vividly remember Frank and Carmine doing "Who's on First" in the duo category. And Frank also started the recycling club and recruited (bribed) some of us to join...he was way ahead of his time. Then at SJU, we stayed in touch. Wish I had done a better job of staying friends but he has always been someone that I considered a friend. The news is shocking and I am praying for his family. In fact, I have heard from so many guys from the SJP Class of 89, 90 and 91 who expressed the same feelings...how much they liked Frank and what they meant to him. He is truly going to be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. and Mrs. Lupo, his wife and kids and all who know him.

Dear Lupo Family,
I am so sorry to hear the sad news about Frankie. Many of my fondest Teton Rd. memories include Frankie; walking to St. Anselm grade school, playing in the middle plot and many other things we did as neighbors growing up. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I worked together with Frank for several years at Ziment. It was a real shock to hear of his untimely passing. My prayers go out to him and his family. Be consoled in that what his life lacked in quantity it more than made up for in quality.

Kari,
My heart goes out to you and your family during this tragic time. I was with my sister every step of the way when she experienced this same exact loss. You are a strong person and I know you will get through this. It will take time and the love and help of your family and friends. Count on them; let them be there for you. Most importantly, let your love for Frank live on in you and your children. Your children now have their own special angel watching and protecting them every day of their lives. Please know that I am here for you if you need someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on.

Dear Kari and kids,
It is shocking to learn about your loss. You are in my prayers and thoughts. Kari, I remember how strong you were when we worked together at St. Bernard's. You carried many heartaches then and worked through them. Go to God for the strength to deal with your pain.
God bless!

Mr. Lupo, loved Tae Kwon Do and he was very proud of the many Black Belts that came out of his small school in Warrington. It is a testament to him that so many of us followed him from Warrington to the NAC. I have told the story many times about how Bobby and I came to join Bensalem Tae Kwon Do, how we visited the other schools in the area, then went to Mr. Lupo's School. When we met Frank, we had found a home. We will miss him greatly.

My thoughts and prayers are in warmest hearts to a side of Frank I never had the chance to meet. Kari, Julianna, Frankie and Vanessa, your husband and father was truly a special man and well respected by many. I would also like to extend thoughts and prayers to Mr and Mrs Lupo, Marianne and Steven to a son and brother I grew up with as kids on the same block, "Frankie" was a part of my childhood that was worth endless memories for many of us on Teton Road. I am sorry for your loss. My wife and family are saddened by the news. God be with all of you in your time of sorrow.

Frank and I were roommates during college at St. Joe's and became a dear friend to me. We lost touch over the years but the news of his loss was as devastating to me none the less. Frank was a great guy and a man of principle which I always respected and my prayers to his entire family. Mr. and Mrs. Lupo...you raised a great son. God's blessings to all of you in your time of sorrow.

This is Frankie's sister, Marianne. I know you are reading these words, hoping to find a way to deal with this crushing grief. As you are thinking about the ways in which he touched your lives, please know that he felt quite the opposite. I know, in my heart, that he felt that his life was better because you were in it.
I know you may feel regret or guilt because you thought that there would be more time. But life gets in the way of our best intentions. Frankie would not want you to feel regret for time you did not spend together, but joy at remembering the times you did.
Kari, myself, our parents, our brothers, our family and friends have been comforted by remembering and telling our "Frank" stories to each other. I would like for you to think back to those times he had you laughing until you cried, or any other memory of him that, as you think of it, you can’t help but smile. If you are able, please share it with me. I have asked to give the eulogy at Thursday's service. I believe I can use your memories, your moments, and your words as inspiration. It seems like an impossible task to use mere words to express what he was, what he meant to all of us, what a phenomemal human being he was…
This is what I am asking of you. This is what I need of you.

Mere words cannot express all that Frank has done for so many people. His memory shall live on with those of us who got a chance to know him and work with him. Those memories will keep Frank alive in so many hearts, stories, teachnings, and messages both in life and in sport. He will not be forgotten as long as those who were lucky enough to know him live on. He shall be with us always.

Frank Lupo was a great role model for my kids and my nephews whom he trained for many years as a martial arts instructor. He was one of those people that if you met him once you would remember him and in turn he would remember you. He was one of the most balanced men I have ever met in that he juggled many responsibilities in his hobbies, business, spiritual, personal, family and academic life. And all of them were handled in balance to their correct priorities. He always had time whenever you had a question or needed advice. He had a big impact on many people and will be missed by his family, friends and the community at large. In as much that his children are young we will do our best to remind them in future years of how great a man and father he was.
