Frank L Moyer, Jr.

Frank L. Moyer, Jr. passed away on August 2, 2024, in Sacramento, CA. He was preceded in death by his sister Karen Sechler and by his parents, Frank L. Moyer, Sr. and Marjory "Mumsy" Moyer. He is survived by his brother, Richard Moyer.

Frank was a loving baby brother to Richard and to his sister Karen, who holds him close and near once again. As a child in Philadelphia, Frank could be found riding down Johnson Street in his red metal pedal car looking like a true Dennis the Menace or camping out in his pup tent sporting flannel cowboy pj's, a toy rifle and his Rin Tin Tin sidekick, Ike. A real-life Alfred E. Newman, Frank loved living on The Far Side like his beloved big brother Richard, who laughed often and heartily at Frank's escapades.

Frank will be remembered for his dedication to his hobbies and the love he shared with his family. He had a passionate interest in boat restoration, dedicating many hours to refurbishing old vessels to their former glory. He was a brilliant nautical craftsman like his father, "The Captain," and had an empathetic soul like his mother, Mumsy.

Memorial services will be private. Please remember him by watching some irreverent television, eating scrapple, or putting sticks between your toes on the beach.
