Frank Michael Pinto

AGE: 66 • Hillsborough

Frank Michael Pinto, 66, Hillsborough, NJ, passed away suddenly on October. 30, 2015. Frank was born Dec. 26, 1948 in Jersey City, NJ, and resided in Lyndhurst, Hopatcong, Randolph, Bridgewater, and Hillsborough. He worked in sales for Polaroid and owned and operated Image Photo and Video in Denville. He then worked as an independent sales rep where he maintained strong bonds with all his clients, coworkers, and vendors. He was active father coaching his sons in the Randolph Soccer and Baseball Programs. He also became a Randolph Soccer Club board member and he later became the RHS Soccer Booster club president. His love of soccer continued as he was a fixture on the sidelines cheering at his granddaughters' soccer games and all of their other activities. He was eager to wrestle with his grandsons' always ready to dive on the ground and grapple. In quieter times, he loved reading to and playing games with all his grandchildren. Frank loved to garden and cultivated a garden at each home he lived in often sharing his pride in his latest harvest. He created lasting friendships with many people and was part of a monthly poker game with friends for over 30 years. As an avid sports fan he followed the Yankees, Giants, and Rangers throughout his life and participated in a close-knit fantasy league. Frank's music and movie knowledge was second to none, able to go head to head with anyone on trivia. His passion for music led to him learning guitar in early adulthood. He loved comedy, and enjoyed sharing his quick wit and joke-telling prowess. Simply, Frank was a people person who made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. He made friends wherever he went.

He is survived by his wife Betty, two sons, Michael Pinto and wife Juliette Bellocq, Gregory Pinto and wife Wendy, grandchildren, Mia, Kira, Amadéo, and Calixte; his father, Olindo Pinto, his sister Linda Buscio and her husband Michael, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was recently predeceased by his Mother, Mary.

So sad to hear of the sudden loss of your beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend.

I met Frank when he would come to Party Fair - Mercerville where I worked. He always told us jokes, we talked about the Yankees, yes I am a Yankee fan and also we talked about The Voice and who we liked and who we thought would win.

He always had a smile on his face and I am so happy that I got to meet him and knew that we would see him every few weeks or so.

My heart goes out to each and everyone of you. Rest in peace Frank and hold him close to your heart forever.

I light this candle in memory of Frank and may his spirit always be with you.

Dear Betty and family, Barbara and I have you and the boys in our prayers. We couldn't have asked for better neighbors "on the circle" in Randolph. It was so much fun joking around with Frank. His humor was endless. God Bless.

Dear Betty, I'm so sorry for your loss. I hired Frank at Big Apple and we worked together for 10 years. We became very close friends and though I retired we still kept in touch. I will miss him very much and I considered him one of my closest friends. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
