Frank Takaki Obituary

TAKAKI Frank, Yukio Frank passed away peacefully after a brief illness on April 14th, 2008 with his family at his side. He was the second son of Kohei and Kiku Takaki of Japan. He immigrated to Canada in 1955 to Lethbridge, Alberta and moved to Vancouver in 1975. He worked at Nexen Plant until retirement. He is survived by his loving wife, Fumiko Jean, 2 sons, Stan (Tsuneko), Don (Akiko), 4 grandchildren, Kevin (Megumi), Kenji, Koji, Brad and 1 great-grandson Hugo. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Burnaby General Hospital for their warm care during his stay at the hospital. Koden and flowers are gratefully declined however donations to the Vancouver Buddhist Church or to the charity of your choice will be appreciated. Memorial service will be held the Vancouver Buddhist Church on Tuesday, April 29th at 11 a.m. at 220 Jackson Ave., Vancouver.
