Frank D. Tobia

Brick - Frank D. Tobia, age 78, of Brick Township passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 2, 2018. Frank was born in Newark, NJ on May 30, 1940 to the late Francesco and Helen Tobia. Frank along with his wife Edith relocated to Pt. Pleasant Beach where they would raise their family and later moved to Brick. He was a parishioner of St. Dominic's RC Church. During his career Frank was the co-owner and operator of the Flame and Silver Sands Motel both located in Pt. Pleasant Beach. Frank was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, he will be dearly missed.

Frank is preceded in death by his daughter Edith Ann Tobia and by his granddaughter Gabriella M. Tobia.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Edith Tobia, by his daughter Helen Tobia of Howell, two sons, Frank N. Tobia and Jennifer of Brick, and James Tobia and Emily of Delaware; one sister Angela Tobia of Point Pleasant; grandchildren, Frank Michael, Adriana, Daniel, and Maggie Tobia; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends for Visitation Thursday from 3:00 -7:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Highway 88 Brick, NJ 08724. The Funeral Mass will be offered Friday 9:00 AM at St. Dominic's RC Church in Brick. The interment will follow at St. Anne's Cemetery in Wall.
