Frank will be fondly remembered by fellow Friendship Village of Dublin residents and staff, and a multitude of friends made throughout their many years in Worthington. Frank never met a stranger and welcomed many into their home. While involved in the Dublin-Worthington Rotary Club he mentored several college students, one of whom has become like family, Kazuomi Shiozawa (Sophia, Willie, and Kellie). Frank was a four-year Veteran of the US Navy, serving during the Korean War. He was privileged to have participated in the Honor Flight in September 2019. He graduated from Parkersburg High School, then attended the University of North Dakota where he became a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. He was instrumental in establishing the youth soccer program in Worthington and coached soccer for many seasons. He was active in Boy Scouts with his sons and participated in scouts as a boy. He retired from The Wyatt Company in 1996 which gave him more time to participate in volunteer activities. He especially enjoyed volunteering in June's classroom teaching children to write stories on the computer. He was an active participant in several Worthington School initiatives. He was honored with the prestigious Worthington Leadership for a Lifetime Award in 1996. He was an active member of the Dublin-Worthington Rotary Club and was named Rotarian of the year in 1993-94. He was an Honorary Member of the Rotary Club Santiago de Los Caballeros, Santiago, Dominican Republic, where he traveled several times to work on hands-on service projects establishing safe drinking water for the island. He served as Chairman of the Dublin- Worthington Rotary Club Foundation for sixteen years. He loved all kinds of music, especially old hymns, classical, and jazz and he was a longtime supporter of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. As a young man, he played the piano, organ, clarinet, violin and he sang in the PHS Choir. He especially enjoyed playing old hymns from his mother's hymnal on the piano. He attended Grace Polaris Church and trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior.

The family will receive friends at Schoedinger Worthington, 6699 N. High Street, Worthington, on Tuesday January 17 from 1-3:00PM with the funeral service at 3:00PM, Pastor Tim Waggoner officiating. It is never easy to experience the loss of someone so dear to you, and while time will eventually soften the feelings of sadness, they will never be completely gone. May your good memories of Frank, and the life he lived, help you as you grieve and may the knowledge of his faith be a comfort as you anticipate reuniting with him one day. Praying for your family during this difficult time. Sincerely, Mark Stradley

Frank, alongside June for so many years, was an inspiration to all of those who knew him. Like "teacher/wife" June, he enjoyed talking to people from a perspective that would help them face each new challenge in their lives. He shared my appreciation for classical music, and he was the epitome of a true gentleman at all times. June, we all share your loss, but must remember all the good things we learned from Frank's example.
