August 11, 2004

To the Family of Franklin Gilmer,

I was saddened to read of Franklin's passing. I am James Lauver ( Rick Gilmer's stepbrother, from when Wilma Coyner(who became Gilmer) was later married to my father, William Lauver.

I remember Franklin coming to our home at times to see Ricky and Wilma. I was very young but I remember how I always enjoyed his visits.

Please accept my prayers and condolences for your loss.

Sincerely,

Jim Lauver
