WHITE, Rev. Franklin Edgar Jr. 1 Corinthians 2:9 - But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him" - The following are the written words of Reverend Frank E. White Jr., who had prepared his obituary for the ones he loved, who would remain. Reverend Franklin E. White Jr. (Sonny), the husband of Darlene (Masser) White, born March 21, 1936 went to be with the lord on July 13, 2013, at the age of 77 years. Frank, or "Sonny" as he was known to his beloved friends loved life, and lived a very good one. He came to know Jesus Christ as his best friends and savior at an early age of 14 years old. His grandmother Perkins was the first to teach him about Jesus. In 1965, he rededicated his life back to Jesus. 1975, he and his family moved to Dover to pastor his first church. After beginning a successful work in Dover, he and his family moved back to Maryland. In Maryland, he was privileged to pastor Damascus Church of God. He pastured this wonderful church for 17 years. In 1992, he and his wife moved and began pasturing a church in Thonotosassa. In 1993, he went on Staff with his son, Randy, at South Tampa Christian Center, now known as WWIC. Reverend White became the associate Pastor along side his son, Bishop Randy White from 1993 until his death on July 13, 2013. Reverend White served faithfully not only to WWIC, and his son, but most importantly to Jesus Christ. Rev. Frank White Jr. was proud to be a Bishop in good standing with the Church of God. He was also very proud that he was able to serve his country in the United States Navy from the years of 1955-1959. In addition to loving Jesus, his dear wife, his friends and family, he also had an enthusiastic love for all sports, esp. the game of baseball. Reverend White is survived by his darling wife of 57 years, Darlene White; son, Randy A. White; daughter, Sandra J. White; sister, Patsy White; sister, Bonnie Kesserling; grandchildren, Ryan Teaford, Angela (Russell) Pieper, Brandon (Alyssa) White, Bradley (Rachel) Knight; great-grandchildren, Drew Thomas, Emma Hernandez, Jett Pieper, Jameson Pieper, Jax Pieper, Preston White, Milania White, Hayden Teaford. Reverend White was preceded in death by his mother, Marie White; brother, Robert White; sister, Stephanie Whites Sister, Robyn White; and his granddaughter, Kristen Hernandez. Special friends to Reverend White are Paula White, Amy Bates, Reverend Dan & Kim Brochman, Fred Thomas, Michael & Kim Monday. Viewing Wednesday, July 17th, 7-9 pm. Funeral Service Thursday, July 18th, at 7 pm, both at Without Walls International Church, 3806 West Columbus Drive Tampa, FL 33607. Officiating the ceremony Reverend Dan Brochman, Vicki Yohe, and Darlene Bishop. A Memorial Service will also take place Saturday, July, 20th, 1 pm, open to public Keeney & Basford P.A. Funeral Home, 106 E Church Street, Frederick, MD. In Lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to the Kristen Renee Foundation P. O. Box 20914 Tampa, FL 33622.
