Mr. Fredrick "Fred" Ingram, 71 of Union City died Monday, January 24, 2022, at his home.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery.

He was born May 18, 1950, in Jackson Tennessee and the son of the late Artimba and Ruby Ingram. Fredrick accepted Christ at a young age. He was employed at Goodyear Tire Company and retired as a hard working tire builder after 41 years. After retirement, he took advantage of traveling, visiting his children and grandchildren, taking pictures, and watching NBA Basketball.

Fredrick loved taking care of his array of plants, shopping for the latest fashions, collecting jewelry and hats, and listening to good music. He made it a point to have the best-looking yard on the block in his neighborhood.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 44 years, Theresa Ingram, son; Lucas (Tiffany) Ingram of Lawrenceville, Georgia; daughter; Kellee Ingram of Nashville Tennessee; grandchildren, Nathaniel Ingram, Leighton Ingram, and Rebekah Ingram; two sisters, Dorothy Yarborough of Jackson, Tennessee and Candyce E. Brownlee of Flower Mound, Texas; one brother, Curtis R. Ingram of Jackson, Michigan. He also leaves behind two very special people in his life, his aunt, Elizabeth Walton of Jackson, Michigan and cousin, Linda Barham of Jackson, Michigan along with a host of other cousins, friends, and family members.

Theresa, Lucas, Kellee, and family. Keep the good memories in your hearts and Fred will always be with you. We met you when we all moved from MI to Union City with Goodyear and moved into the same apartment building. Was so looking forward to seeing you two at our annual Goodyear retirees potluck next month.

Cousin Theresa and Family,
So sorry for your loss of Fred. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
We have many fond memories of time spent with you and Fred over the years. He will be missed. Fred had a sense of humor and was always “ fashionable”. Remember those hats! Our prayers are with you as you adjust to this life on earth without him. May God bless and keep you and know that we are here for you. Love and blessings, Bud and Lula
