Fred Petty Obituary
NEW ELLENTON, SC-- Fred Wilson Petty, 78, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2008, at his residence, dearly loved by his wife Hazel and daughter Kathy Petty.
A kind and gentle man, his favorite places on earth were his home and his garden. Mr. Petty was retired from DuPont at the Savannah River Site, where he was employed for more than 40 years. He was a member of Foreman Memorial Baptist Church. Funeral services will be private.
Mr. Petty is also survived by a brother, Ray Petty of Pacolet, SC, and a sister, Evie Allison, of Spartanburg, SC.
