Freda CAMPBELL Obituary

Published by Windsor Star on Dec. 30, 2011.
CAMPBELL, Freda Irene
Passed away on Thursday December 29, 2011 at the age of 84 in Leamington, Ontario. Loving daughter of the late Anna and Stanley Fox of Kingsville. Predeceased by her beloved first husband Kenneth Kinread in 1982 and her most precious husband Gordon Campbell in 2009. Freda was the sister of Edna Burton (Bob) and Jean Driedger (John). She was the cherished Aunt of Martha Chobrda (Steve), Jennifer Freeman (Bill), Jeffrey Driedger (Sandra), David Driedger, Paul Driedger (Betty Sue), Karen Wilcox and Diana Humphries (Dwayne). Freda's extended family includes many from both the Kinread and Campbell marriages all of whom she treasured and was very proud of. Freda was a fiercely loyal, talented and independent woman who was completely devoted to each of her husbands in turn. She was a splendid homemaker, a talented seamstress and generous volunteer knitting and donating more than 400 baby bonnets to Leamington District Memorial Hospital which were given out to the newborns. As a young woman, Freda graduated from a Business College in Windsor and worked in a secretarial role for both Ontario Hydro and North Bay General Hospital. Freda found great joy in traveling with family and friends and savoured the memories all of her life. Freda battled COPD with the same determination, courage and strength that she lived life with. Today she rests in the arms of God and we are confident that her reunion with family and friends was glorious! Friends will be received at the
