Freda WHITE

WHITE, Freda Cora Peacefully, at the Hospice at May Court, with her family at her side, after a dignified battle with cancer, on May 5th, 2003 at the age of 88. Freda was predeceased by her late husband Richard Walter White in 1969, her beloved sister Florence and brothers Cicero and Kenneth. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Glen, her devoted children Larry White (Prudy) of Malagash, Nova Scotia and Deanna (John Kelly) of Manotick, cherished grandchildren Tara and Jason Gilligan of Ottawa and Heather (Darren Shwaykowski) of Halifax and Grant White (Devina) of Toronto, her 5 beautiful great-grandchildren, Conor, Haley, Carter, Joshua and Quincy. She will also be sadly missed by her very special friend Lily Little. In addition, many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and friends will miss her quiet presence and peaceful smile. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3000 Woodroffe Avenue (Barrhaven) Saturday after 1 p.m. A Service in Memory of Mrs. White will be held in the Chapel, Saturday at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, In Memoriam donations can be made to the Palliative Care Services at the Ottawa Civic Hospital, the Ottawa Heart Institute or the Hospice at May Court.
