FREDERICK GREIF Obituary
Of Aspinwall, on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, age 79. Beloved husband of Marjorie J. (Hoolahan) Greif; father of Matthew J. (Heather), James P. (Candice) and Eric Greif; grandfather of Haleigh, Evan and Natalie; brother of the late Bud, William and Mary Catherine Greif; also survived by nieces and nephews. Fred was a US Army veteran and former Auditor for the Borough of Aspinwall. He worked in the hardware department at Sears in East Liberty for 39 years. Friends received at McCABE BROS., INC. FUNERAL HOME, 6214 Walnut Street, Shadyside on Friday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Scholastica Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. EVERYONE PLEASE GATHER AT THE CHURCH. Fred volunteered at Aspinwall Meals-on-Wheels for over 20 years and in lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Aspinwall Meals-on-Wheels, 450 Walnut Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15238.

He was a wonderful man,with a great sense of Humor,and a great Friend to My Dear Jim.It will be 2 Years for Jim on May 1st.They both,will be greatly missed.Hang in there,Dear Margie and Family.I have a new Beautiful ,Precious Grandaughter,Princess Mackenzie Grace,who just turned 1.We are celebrating her Birthday on May 1st in Aspinwall Pavilion.A Wonderful Distraction for Me.You could stop by,if You want too,be glad to see you.
