FUAD NASSAB Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Jun. 5 to Jun. 6, 2021.
NASSAB, Fuad "Fred" Of Sarasota, Florida, passed away on May, 30 at the age of 87. Fuad's life personified the American dream. Born in Palestine in 1934, he and his family settled in Lebanon in 1948. Seeking to continue his education, Fuad came to the United States in 1952 and enrolled at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. He was drafted into the United States Army and served his new country proudly and honorably.

Fuad met his wife, Carole Kennedy of Lynn, Massachusetts, in 1962. The two were married at Our Lady of the Annunciation Church in West Roxbury, Massachusetts in 1963.

While Fuad had a long and distinguished career at Raytheon Corp., he was most proud of his family: his wife Carole, his children Peter, Joe, Paul, and Rebecca, their spouses Barbara, Colleen, Karen, and Charlie, and his 11 grandchildren.

Fuad and Carole retired to Sarasota, Florida in 1994, and enjoyed its pristine beaches, arts, and culture.

What family and friends will remember most about Fuad was his unique ability to make new acquaintances feel like old friends and his steadfast commitment to a life of integrity and optimism. He will be sorely missed.

Grief can be so hard, but our memories help us cope. Fred and I had a special relationship. We sparred regularly when in negotiations. Something we both enjoyed. I will truly miss him and our talks. Carole, you lost a kind, special man. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

Fred was a wonderful person and always concerned with others. He loved his family as much as humanly possible. I feel very honored to have known Fred and am so grateful for the wonderful friendship he and Carole have with my father and mom Al and Joyce. Rest In Peace and sending love and comfort to the whole family.

So very sorry to hear about Fuad. John and I were just talking about him the other day. He had a special way about him to make people feel very comfortable and he always made them feel special. He had a great sense of humor and could always make you laugh. He will definitely be greatly missed. With our deepest condolences, Diane & John
