Gail Viola FARRELL

FARRELL, Gail Viola (nee ARMSTRONG) Passed away peacefully at her home on the shores of Lake Simcoe surrounded by her loving family on August 28, 2017. Loving wife of Albert for 55 years and proud mother of her four girls: Deanna, Jennifer (Rob), Hilary (Rob) and Cynthia (Mike). Devoted grandmother of Adam, Olivia, Tess, Madeline, Victoria, Alex, Julia, William, Isabel and Nathaniel. Leukemia survivor in 2007, Gail succumbed to esophageal cancer in her 76th year, strong and resilient to the end as she was throughout her life. Always supportive and connecting with people, as home and school president, swim instructor at East York Community Centre and Earl Beatty Public School, Citrus Park resident, Tai Chi enthusiast and talented knitter, quilter and seamstress. Her family appreciates the kindness and professionalism of Dr. Erika Catford, Linsey, Julia and Stephanie. A Celebration of Life will follow.
