Gail Guess DARLINGTON, SC - Gail Guess, 54, of Darlington died on Monday, January 10, 2011. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 5 PM in the Chapel of Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home. Mrs. Guess was born in Altavista, Virginia. She attended the Church at Sandhurst in Florence and was an avid reader and writer. Gail loved spending quality time with her family and looked forward to her fishing and camping trips with her sisters every year. She was a loving person with a sweet spirit and will be missed dearly by all. Surviving are her mother, Jean Yeatts Dowdy of Florence; her father, Harold A. Dowdy of Darlington; her husband, David Alan Guess, Sr. of Darlington; her children, David Alan Guess, Jr. and Ashley Elizabeth Guess both of Darl-ington; her sisters, Susan Dowdy, Sally Crowley and Cheryl Maloch all of Florence. The family will receive friends following the service on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the funeral home and other times at the residence, 115 Laurel Ave., Darlington, SC 29532.
