TURNER, Garry On February 9th, 2007, Mr. Garry Turner of Hinton, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Hinton General Hospital with his wife Patty and his son Lance at his side. "A legend has passed and a star burns brighter in Heaven's sky" Besides his wife and best friend Patty, Garry is survived by his daughter Shaughn Turner of Hinton, Alberta, his son Lance Turner of Hinton, Alberta and his children Alana and Lauren of Lloydminster, Alberta, his daughter Lailauni Schnell of Calgary, Alberta and her children Brandon, Shaylee and Aneesha, his son Roddy (Donna) Turner of Pitt Meadows, British Columbia and their children Samantha, Kevin and Krista. Also surviving are his brother Fred (Nettie) Turner of Vernon, British Columbia, his sisters Carol Trickett (Mike) of Nanoose Bay, British Columbia and Lois Hannett of Surrey, British Columbia. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends. Garry was predeceased by his parents Anthony and Gladys Turner as well as his brother Wally Turner and sister-in-law Tina. A celebration of Garry's life will be held upstairs at the Royal Canadian Legion in Hinton, Alberta on Thursday, February 15th, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. with Worship Leader Kim Roy presiding.Please come and join us in sharing the good times we all had with "Turner".
