I had planned to attend Garths Funeral but we had a death in our family that morning. I always liked Garth and the way he presented himself. He was a good man. My prayers are with his loved ones.Lanier Sherrill.

The LORD tells us, "... absent from the body present with The LORD" to all who have trusted The LORD JESUS CHRIST as their Savior. TRUST CHRIST and be SAVED TODAY and we all will be able to enjoy being with Garth forever at that great home-coming.

I met Garth many times over the last 12 years when I married Jane Harris, his cousin. Jane has so many wonderful memories of Garth and his family she has shared with me. I always thought of Garth as a strong man of faith to be looked up to. May God bless and keep his loved ones and family in spirit and truth, may all celibrate a life on earth well lived and the eternal joy of his life eternal with his Lord and Savior. We were not able to be at the funeral or the visitation but our hearts and prayers are with all of you

WHEN I THINK BACK TO MY YOUNGER DAYS, OUR FAMILIES VISITING, I REMEMBER ALL THE LAUGHTER. I REMEMBER LOTS OF GAMES WE PLAYED AND PLAYING TAG AND HIDE-N-SEEK AND TRIPS TO THE PARK. I REMEMBER A VERY LOVING HAPPY FAMILY.
NOT ONE MEMORY OF YOU GUYS IS BAD.
WHEN I THINK OF GARTH, I THINK OF HIS SMILE AND HIS LAUGH AND HIS KIND WAYS ABOUT HIM. A GREAT MAN. CHERISH THE MEMORIES AND KNOW THAT HE IS "UPSTAIRS" SMILING DOWN ON YOU. GOD BLESS!
