Gary Patrick Boggs

Gary Boggs, 60 years old of Malvern, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Friday August 1,2025. Gary was born to William Russ Boggs Sr., and Ada Jean Boggs on October 23, 1964 in Akron, Ohio. Gary grew up in Akron and Norton and graduated from Norton High School.

He spent much of his life in Akron and Barberton as maintenance manager and production manager. He opened his own business and then moved to Malvern, Ohio where he continued his business doing what he loved to do every day.

Gary had an uncanny ability to fix just about anything and everything from cars to electronics to machines. Since he was a child, he loved to tear things apart and put them back together and that was what made him good at what he did. No matter what it was, he could fix it. Gary was intelligent, he did things his own way an on his own timeline. He was a very caring person always working so hard to do for others in his life. He taught his daughters generosity, to work hard and to say unique and true to yourself. He is remembered by his daughters as a man with an amazing mind and wit. They were so happy he was in their life and will cherish the special memories of him forever of eating grapefruit and watching NASCAR on Sunday, of going to Red Lobster for lunch, Hartville Flea Market, antiquing and going to Scoops Ice Cream. He would drive fast in his car and make them excited with how fast they were going and he would laugh as they squealed with excitement. Gary learned that from his big brother Bill.

Gary is survived by his three beautiful daughters, Rachel Boggs, Grace Parry and Hope Willochell and his big brother William (Bill) Boggs Jr. (Heidi).

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ada Jean Boggs, father, William Russ Boggs Sr., nephew William (Billy) Gerald Boggs, his grandparents, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Gary will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Respecting Gary's wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
