Gary L. German, age 53, passed on January 17, 2019, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Gary is survived by his wife of 10 years, Fran (nee Sklarow); his mother and father, Catherine and Adam German, of Lester, Pennsylvania; his siblings, Cathy (and Walter) Kobin, Bob (and Bridget) German and numerous, adored nieces and nephews.
Gary was born on December 13, 1965, in Lester, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Widener University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems. Gary was a dedicated computer technician at UPS for over two decades.
Gary was a loving husband, son, brother and uncle. Cherished memories include hunting and fishing with his parents, holiday baking, cheering on the Phillies (even on his wedding day), and Starr bus trips with his wife and close friend, George. His family and friends will always remember him as a caring and thoughtful man.
A graveside funeral is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Forest Hills Cemetery, 25 Byberry Road, in Huntingdon Valley. A reception will follow, immediately after the service, in the social room at the Imperial Manor II Condominiums (8940 Krewstown Road; Philadelphia, PA 19115). All are welcome to attend and celebrate Gary's life. The family would like to thank everyone for their support, thoughts and prayers.
