It is with great sorrow that the Leroux family announces the passing of Gaston Leroux at the Montfort Hospital in Ottawa, on Monday, April 4, 2016 at the age of 74 years old. Beloved husband of Elise Leroux (née Bernier, of Cochrane On) and dear father of Angèle Vanderlaan (Martin Hagedorn) of Ottawa, Danièle Leroux (François Jubinville) of Gatineau and Michèle Leroux (Joel Menard) of Sayre, PA. He will be fondly remembered by his five grandchildren Anya, Adrianna, Benjamin, Evan and Isabelle. He was predeceased by his granddaughter Flavie, his parents and his brother Eugene Jr. He will also be missed by his in-laws, Lorraine Lajeunesse (Ron Lajeunesse), Jacques Bernier as well as his nephews and nieces, Michel and Luc Lajeunesse, Rachel Bernier and Lindsay Surette. A viewing will be held at McEvoy and Shields, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa on Saturday April 9 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at a later date at the catholic church Paroisse de l'Ange- Gardien of Gatineau (Angers) Quebec with the immediate family only.
