Dear Marie and family,I was saddened by the death of Gavin. I had great memories of the get togethers with my mum and dad at the farm. Gavin did such a good job speaking at my dads funeral in Collinton. My thoughts are with you, I know Gavin was very proud of you all.

Aunt Marie and all of my Scott cousins
I was saddened by the news of the passing away of Gavin. While growing up in Alberta Gavin always provided me with the support understanding and direction to be a good person - even though he once did sic his dogs on me while I was hitch hiking from Balzac. I will always remember Gavin fondly.

Gavin was a practical man and he knew what was important in life: family, friends, work ethic, honesty, good times, etc. He knew when it was time to say good-bye and I admire him for that. I am sorry I will miss the celebration of his life, but please know I will be thinking fondly of him and all of you later today.

I so enjoyed caring for Gavin during my time with Cochrane Home Care. I remember how each morning he'd be reading all the morning papers, keeping up with the world. He loved sharing stories of his family, of whom he was so obviously proud. I was saddened to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences go out to Marie and his entire family.

I loved the picture of him as that is how I (and I'm sure many other's will remember him) with a huge smile on his face and always happy.
I will always remember the trips to your farm in Balzac as a young child.
You and Gavin were always so thoughtful, kind and wonderful together.
