Genevie "Jenny" (Turner) Brown, 71, of Paragon passed away Sunday, October 20,?2019 at her residence. She was born to the late Jewell and Louise (Hoffa) Turner in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
On November 4th?1967 Jenny married her high school sweetheart, Mike Brown who preceded her in death in 2017. She retired from Putnam County Hospital after working as a ward secretary and a CNA. Jenny was a longtime member of Gosport United Methodist Church. After retirement Jenny loved to garden and fish on their property. Many evenings, Jenny would sit in her swing overlooking the pond and watch the deer and eagles.
Jenny is survived by her daughters, Chris Stierwalt (Mark) and Crystal Pottorff (Brent) all of Paragon; grandson, Larry Michael Pottorff; granddaughter, Emily Ann Stierwalt; one half sister, Sadie Basill, and several nieces and nephews.Jenny is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and one half brother Connie Turner.
A visitation will be held Friday, October 25th?at Gosport United Methodist Church, 119 N. 7th?Street Gosport, Indiana 47433 from 11-1 P.M. A funeral service will begin at 1. Burial will follow in Gosport Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gosport United Methodist Church in Jenny's memory.
