COOK, Genevieve M. On October 6, 2005, GENEVIEVE MUTH COOK, beloved wife of the late James Bowling Cook, dear mother of James B. Cook Jr., and Mary Keating Cook. Devoted grandmother of Alexandra, Julia, James III, Hayden and Elizabeth Cook, Blaise Govatos and Jade Deatherage. Devoted sister of Michael J. Muth, Barbara Guidera, Harriet Roche, Jacqueline Jenkins and Helen Otell. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the family owned Mitchell-Wiedefeld Funeral Home, Inc., 6500 York Road (at Overbrook), on Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be offered Monday 10 A.M. at St. Mary's Church (Govans). Interment New Cathedral Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Johns Hopkins University, Department of Pathology/Ross558, 720 Rutland Ave., Baltimore, MD. 21205. Attn: Elaine Delman.

Best crab cakes in the world! Always ready with a smile and a hug. If I ever had run away from home, when I was a boy, I would have gone to her home. Gave me my first camera, a Brownie! Loved and will be missed.
