Focused on the future with rare resolve, classmate Genevieve carved out an exceptional career that combined academic talents with artistic sensitivity. While marveling at her myriad accomplishments, we Wellesley classmates send heartfelt condolences to Gen´s family, deprived of an accomplished and generous matriarch. She excelled from day one.

Wonderful memories of working with Gen Fraiman, a valued and generous colleague. She was an inspiration to other attorneys and an acknowledged leader in her field. She should be celebrated for her many accomplishments and she will be missed.

This is a lovely obituary for the woman I knew as a neighbor and sometime walking companion! I and my little dog often walked with Genevieve and Wizard, and our dogs, being about the same size and both very gentle, were always excited to see each other and walk together. I remember Genevieve as always happy when we ran into each other, her generally optimistic view of life syncing well with my own. If we were discussing something troubling that was happening in the world, she always had a long-term and patient perspective of the outcome, which would leave me feeling less worried about it. I loved her enthusiasm for birds and the gentle way she spoke about things. She was a kind presence in our neighborhood and will be greatly missed!
