George Andreas Jr. Obituary
George grew up in Visalia, CA. He served as a Sergeant in the Marines Corps. at Camp Pendleton and attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He worked at Moore Business Forms for over 30 years where he met his wife of 36 years, Rosemary. He loved sports, was an avid golfer, and played basketball, bowling and baseball. He and Rosemary loved traveling and spending time with family. We will greatly miss his dry sense of humor , fatherly advice, sarcasm and comical hand gestures. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and mentor to many others.
He is survived by his wife Rosemary Andreas, and one brother Roger Andreas, (Joyce). He leaves behind 6 children: Dana Thompson, Brian Andreas, Darin Andreas, (Caroline), Kelly Roache, (Bill), Darla Reeder and Kristi Andreas-Redondo, (Jason) as well as 14 grandchildren and 13 great grand-children. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Joe and Frank, and one sister Mary.
A memorial will be held on September 14th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Elks Lodge in Visalia. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations can be made in George's name to St. Jude’s Hospital at stjude.org/giveonline.

I have fond memories of my cousin George's wonderful sense of humor and his determination to succeed. We were first-grade classmates at Earlimart. I will miss him! Sending best wishes to Rosemary and to all of George's children. With much love, Virginia

He was both a character and witty and equal parts sensitive and caring. When you looked beyond the character he portrayed, you saw the meaning behind his actions and love behind his words. If you were lucky enough, he let you know how much he cared for you without using words.
