BATELLI - George F., Sr. "Bat" age 55 of Garfield, formerly of Paterson died on October 1, 2002 in the line of duty as a fireman. Beloved husband of the former Linda Pomilla. Devoted father of George F., Jr. and his wife Eveline Dawn Lynn Weiss and her husband Brian, and Sherry Ann Batelli. Dear brother of Alfred Batelli. Grandfather of Alexa and Nicholas Batelli, and Brittany and Danielle Weiss Funeral Saturday October 2, 2002 8 AM arrival at the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973)340-7077, followed by a 10:30 AM mass at The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, Paterson. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Saddle Brook Visiting Thursday 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers the family will accept memorial gifts for Garfield Volunteer Fire Company #1, Garfield Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and Garfield Jr. Boilermakers.
