My memory of George was he was a no nonsense shoot straight at the target type of businessman and man if deep faith in Jesus Christ. George was a man who not only was admired by all who knew him, we all wanted to be like him as we matured through life. Thank you George for the impact you had on my life- Rink Jacobi

George was a wonderful friend to me and was of immeasurable help to me when I covered finance for the Boston Globe. The personification of character, integrity and strength of mind. I cherish his memory. And he did not have to ask me NOT to write about.kept private those matters dear to him

Although I never knew George, I will never forget him. I am a ups driver and I met him when he was 99. I delivered a pkg to him and he wanted me to bring the pkg into the kitchen for him. He was an adorable man who reminded me of my father who had died alittle over a year before. He was mumbling abit as he was getting annoyed trying to shuffle his way over the area rug at the door, just like my dad use to do with his walker. I would yell "HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEORGE" whenever I went by seeing the birthday banner in front of his house. I've been waiting to see that banner this month, but just today I saw the for sale sign my heart sank abit, it brought tears to my eyes.I am deeply saddend and want to send my deepest heartfelt sympathy to his family. I will still think of him everytime I pass his house. Joan D

George Bennett lived the word of God. He was "living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword." His word was his bond. He was transparent and was a man after God's own heart. What a home coming for George and Helen and our Lord. Our love In His, rink and wendy

So sweet a man
That touched my heart
So sad that we must part.
So delightful, intelligent, strong and caring.
George was humorous,
determined, and always sharing

George Bennett's vision in establishing the Lois W. Bennett Distinguished Chair at Gordon-Conwell in women's ministries has led to countless women now serving God's kingdom in myriad ways. As the first recipient of that gift, I am grateful beyond words for the blessing of his vision and the work that came from it. I thank God for him, an extraordinary man who honored God in so many ways.

A true follower of Jesus Christ and now finally walking by sight and seeing Jesus face to face. Such a Godly example of a real born-again Christian. So glad to have known him well.
