Mrs. Brown and family,
Being given the opportunity to get to know George as more than a boss, he became a second father to me. It was nice to have someone in my life who actually showed me respect and for that I can't thank him enough. It was a pleasure working for him and he has touched me in ways maybe he never knew. He was a great man and he will surely be missed by all the lives he has touched. My condolences to you all in the coming days. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Mrs. Brown,Brenda,Ken, and the Brown family.
So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I remember those "old days" in Merivale Gardens in the 1960's - yikes!. The park, the bus stop, school etc. Not too many of the original "parents" are left there now. My Mom died in 2004, and my Dad in 2007. Mom sold their house on Arco Way in 2001 - There is quite an interesting building there now. The Trowbridges are both still well, and living at 45 Arco.
Brenda, you and I met a little while back when your daughter was in Guides. You hadn't changed a bit.
Take care
Susan (Rocque)Smith

George was not my own grandfather but he sure treated me as though I was. I feel lucky to have known him in the past 2 years, I will miss him, as will many people. He had a huge heart and provided people with opportunities that some people will never experience. For me,one of those special memories were hockey tickets, not just any tickets...but tickets to the best seats in the arena! But you see, I think George had something bigger planned, I think hes gone to go watch over the Sens...hes going to make sure they win the cup! Now, the team has a angel watching out for them! Carol, Brenda, Gran, Ken and Ross and family he may be gone physically but you know he will never stop watching out for all of you!
