George Deares Sr. Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 10, 2023.
George William Deares, 79, of Baltimore, MD, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2023.

George was full of joy and laughter, with a happy heart. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his son, George W Deares, Jr, and his wife Anjonette Colvin Deares, and their children, Makaila, Breanna, Anna, and Emily, all residing in Fort Worth, Texas. He is also survived by his brother Howard Deares of Ocean Isle Beach, NC. George was preceded in death by his parents, William Horace Deares and Georgianna V Deares (Harris).

George proudly served in the Navy during the 1960s.

After his military service, George had a successful career at General Motors.

In his free time, George enjoyed performing as a clown and magician for children in the local children's hospital. He had a great love for dogs and cherished moments of laughter.

No memorial service is planned at this time. A private service for close family will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Wounded Warriors Project or The Humane Society of Baltimore in George's memory.

May his soul rest in peace.
