GRILLS _ George Edmund George Edmund passed away at the Foothills Hospital on June 25, 2002 at the age of 67 years. George is survived by his life partner Victoria Walker; his four children, Larry (Joy), Norman (Cheryl), Julia (Darcy) and Stephanie (Ed). George is also survived by four grandchildren; his mother Margarite (Melvin) Godfrey; and his extended family, Robert Chase, Terri (Terry), Diane (Tom), Alan (Betty Ann), Uncle Fred, Aunt Barb and Ted and Ruth Grills. George is predeceased by his father Edmund. George was a wonderful father and grandfather and a friend to all. He was surrounded by his family who loved, prayed and cared for him during his illness. A Memorial Service will be held at the Chapel of FIRST MEMORIAL FUNERAL SERVICES, 240 - 17 Avenue S.W., Calgary on Friday, June 28, 2002 at 4:00 p.m. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 1825 Park Road S.E., Calgary, Alberta T2G 3Y6.
