He held his wife Claire close to his heart, we often spoke of our spouses after mine passed. George was a partner when he worked for me on the RR and then when I worked for him in management.

Dear Claire: I was so very sorry to hear about the sudden loss of your beloved George. He was such a good neighbor to my Mom and Dad. My heart goes out to you and the family during this difficult time.

Dear Hurchick Family,You are all in my prayers and thoughts. I fondly remember all my train rides with George and Kevin on the 6:20 AM Amtrak from Trenton to New York Penn Station. The coffee and conversation with George made the many years of commuting worth the trip! I know George will be watching over all of us! Joe Tantum

George was a trusted co-worker and more importantly a friend. When he was not talking about his family and how fortunate he was to marry his childhood sweetheart, he would discuss how the "carrier" should do something better. I will miss him and the lunches we shared that Clair had made.

Uncle George you will be missed by many! You are and always will be the best uncle! I will always remember our trip to New York. Riding on the train and you showing us everything at Amtrak. Your girls are doing an amazing job taking care of Aunt Claire. I know you are smiling down on them and you are your grandsons angel now! I miss and love you very much! This candle is for you Uncle George. It shines as bright as your smile!!
