I have known George since the 1950's when I had my car serviced on W.Liberty and Pioneer Avenues.. He was a class act then and since as our neighbor on Philadelphia Avenue. I will miss the many times I spent at his house talking about everything and a lot of nothing. I am sorry that I missed the viewing due to health issues. May God bless the Key family. Our deepest sympathy Sally and Jack Hudson.

Your Father was one of the first people I ever spoke to when we first moved to Dormont. Hard working and yet he found the time to be friendly to everyone! He made a difference in the community for many years and you are all carrying on ...the same tradition.
May God bring you all peace and love in your hearts!

Key Family,
I met your dad when I worked for ARCO in the early 80's during his AM/PM launch. He was an honest person, hard working with a great sense of humor. A great role model for many. God Bless him and all of you.

To My A Plus Family,

My loving thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. I miss you all dearly.

I was truly blessed when George gave me my 1st job at the store and welcomed me into his beautiful family.

He was a true mentor, always there with loving support.

I'm grateful I had the opportunity to tell him that I loved him the last we spoke. I'm truly going to miss his great big bear hugs & seeing him with each visit back to Pittsburgh.

To the entire Key family,

I am very sorry to learn of Mr Key's passing. He was truly a nice man. I remember him when I was just a little kid in Crafton, he was always so nice to me, and to everyone. Later as an adult, I bought a home next to his Dormont Ave station. Occassionly I would see him there, and to me, he hadn't changed at all. Just a complete class-act. I wish I were in town so that I could say good-bye, but I will not return until later this week. I know all of you will miss him, and hopefully in a short time your tears will turn to smiles, when you remember his kindness and his wisdom. He is with his Savior now, and he is very happy. You will all get to see him again when it is your time to go to the Most Wonderful Place. I hope you can find joy in knowing this. God bless.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Key Family
We always enjoyed being in your Dad's company. He was a gentleman and he will be greatly missed by all that knew him. His greatest pride was in his family and that was evident by the love you shared with each other.
