He was born March 11, 1939, in Homer City, a son of Joseph and Anna Orlosky Michna. He was a member of St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Lucernemines, and worked at FMC for 41 years, until his retirement. Mr. Michna was a member of Club Savoy; the Red Barn Sportsmen's Club; American Legion Post 493, Homer City; and the Knights of Columbus, Council 1481, as a third-degree knight. He is survived by his wife, Sandy Segner; three sons: Greg Michna and his wife, Jill, of Vienna, Pa.; Scott Michna and his wife, Barbara, of Aliquippa, Pa.; and Jeff Michna of Vienna; four grandchildren: Justin, Jake, James and Megan; three brothers: Michael Michna of New Jersey; Edward Michna of New Jersey and Frank Michna of Homer City; and one sister, Margaret Kozele. Mr. Michna was preceded in death by his parent; two brothers: Joseph and John; and one sister, Ann Wavrek. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Lucernemines, with the Rev. James Goldberg as celebrant. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery. Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City is in charge of the arrangements.
