I did not know your dad personally but I was a member of the NYPD from 1970-1990. The passing of your father was published in one of the PD groups on Facebook. I read the obituary for your father and was deeply moved. It seems like he had an incredible life with careers and personal involvements spanning a wide variety of opportunities. I'm sure he will be deeply missed by his loved ones but I just wanted to let you know that as a "brother in blue" I admired his testimony to life. May he rest in peace and may God give you all the strength to accept his passing and a life without him.
