Brother, husband, father, grandfather and uncle, our beloved George peacefully passed on February 3, 2023. George was born on March 28, 1953 in Gonzales, TX and lived his life with a passion for driving and fixing up classic cars and being a friend to everyone he met. A long time resident of Waukegan, George had his roots in the community and loved to be out and about. He retired from Waukegan Steel Sales after many years of dedication. Joined in heaven with his mother, Julia and father, Jose Rodriguez, brothers and sister, James, Jessie, Jacob, Julie, Antonio, and Jessie Joseph. Survived by his wife of 49 1/2 years, Deborah and children Julia Martin (Scott Lucadello), George W., and grandfather to Levi, brothers and sisters, Joe, John, Jovita, Julian, Jerry, Josie, Emiterio, Jane, Margaret, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Join us at a celebration of life in honor of George. A Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Zion Benton Moose Lodge #667, 41517 N Sheridan Road in Zion, Illinois, 60099.
