On Saturday, June 4, 2016, George, age 83, of Lawrenceville. Husband of the late Patricia (Kiley) Rupert and Joan Rupert; loving father of Patricia (Steve) Talkington, Gerard (Kathy) Rupert, Maureen (Robert) Colton, Eric (Beth) Rupert and the late Mark (surviving wife Virginia) Rupert; stepfather of Sandy Metzler, Michele, Shawn (Jessica) Werner; brother of Pete and Frank Rupert; also survived by 24 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. George was a proud Corporal in the United States Army, lifetime member of the Knights of Equity and a lifetime member of the NRA. Friends received at the JOHN F. MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, INC., Butler at 52nd. St., Lawrenceville. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Angels Parish, St. Augustine Church, Thursday 10 a.m. Visitations Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

Hello George Fern Rupert, Jr. I considered calling you a few times lately, for just a split second... I can hear you now, "Save your money, I'm getting the hell off the phone!" Lol! Now I can just talk out-loud to you and save my money. I'll see you again, dad. Love ya!

I am so sorry to hear of George's passing. We had such a good time at the after parade party this year (again). i will miss him immensely. We'll not see the likes of him again
