Jean, Peggy and family,
Words seem inadequate to express the sadness I feel for you during your time of great loss. As you remember George by keeping him close in loving memory, you honor all that he was and all that he means to you. And little by little, those memories will bring more and more smiles-just like he did. You're held close in thought and prayers, and wished much peace in the days ahead. The pictures were so special thank you for sharing.
May the memory of this special life be a comfort to you with deepest sympathies.

Uncle George - you were always the most wonderful uncle anyone could ask for. The wonderful family vacations when you came to Indiana to visit with the family or we were in Ohio. The memories when you visited us in Sweden and we all travelled through Europe. Those memories will last forever. We always loved when you and mom would get together and tell stories about when you were both young, your dog, Midge....... Memories will never be forgotten. We will love you always. Uncle George - YOU were the best uncle anyone could ever ask for.
I loved spending time with you and your family in Ohio for many years. There was always merriment and laughter.
YOU were such a generous and kind man. So bright and funny too.You had many gifts but I feel you were the best listener. I am sure that is why you were such an outstanding attorney. You cared and really heard what one had to say.
Many of us were blessed to have you in our lives as a friend, attorney, neighbor, father, husband, or relative.
I will miss you and your smile.YOU were one GREAT GUY!!
Much love and blessings to all the Sauters.
He will always be in your hearts.

I will miss you Uncle George.
Your ready smile and quick wit...
You were always so much fun and so comfortable to be around.
I looked forward to the opportunity to spend time with you.and feel blessed we had you in our lives for so many wonderful years.

I will always cherish your attitude of not taking "yourself too seriously"
Humor is the great equalizer and a laugh is the best medicine.

You lived your life with Honor, Humor and Grace.Hard work and Fair Play. An exemplary example to us all of a life well lived.
Go in Peace dear uncle George, we will never forget you.

With love and deepest sympathy to all the Sauter Family,
Julie, John Devon and Kerry Douglas (Stowe, Vermont)
